Welcome to the Texas Learning Styles Academy Blog

This blog has been created for instructors
of higher education who want to learn more about student learning styles and
techniques to use in the classroom that address these various styles of
teaching/learning.

While most instructors are familiar with learning
styles in general, many are not knowledgeable about teaching strategies that can
address the syyle-specific needs of their students.

Here you will find a
reading list and other resources that you can use to learn more about
brain-based learning, multiple intelligences, accelerated learning and
metacognition. You will also be able to post topics and comments and thus share
with other instructors.
